    No. Your must purchase overseas students health cover (OHSC) before you leave your home country.

  • What is the cost of living in the Australia?
    Students need approx 12,000 Dollars / Year for their living expenses while in Australia and tuition fees range from AUD $4,000 to AUD$20,000 depending upon location, course and universities or colleges.
    The cost of living varies according to the place and state you decide to study and live. For example Sydney is more expansive than other parts of Australia.
     
  • How much cash should I bring?
    You should have enough money to pay for your transport from the airport to your accommodation. You may be staying with friends or family at first so will not have to think about accommodation costs.
    If you are staying with family or friends you must have enough money for Accommodation and food for at least first few moths of your stay.
     
  • Can I support myself by working in AUSTRALIA?
    No. You will not be able to support yourself by working in Australia. You may cover your living expenses by working but you will not be able to pay your tuition fees while working in Australia.
     
  • Can you give me the general ideas of fee for Overseas students in Australia?

Working:
  • Can I work whilst I am studying in Australia?
    Australia is one of few countries where overseas students are allowed to work part time (up to 20 hours) .They can work full time during vacations.
    Working part time can cover your living cost while in Australia but it doesn’t cover your tuition fees.
    If you are married you can bring your spouse to Australia and he/She can work pasrttime/fulltime dependng upon your visa subclass. Generally Dependent of Masters and PHD level can work full time.
     
  • How much do I get working in Australia?
    Unskilled part time wages range from AUD$10-15/ Hour.
     
  • Can I bring my family while I study in Australia?
